Roy Jacobsen: Take The Opportunity To Vote For Bonnie Van Slyke

The following letter appeared in local newspapers and is shared with us here by the author Roy Jabobsen. Roy has lived in Charlestown for more than 20 years, is a retired minister, and is a Director of the Friends of the Quonochontaug Grange among other volunteer activities.

Charlestown is in the unique position to elect a new member of the town council on December 2, 2025.

There’s one candidate who stands out above the rest and deserves our vote, Bonnie Van Slyke. In her own right, Bonnie‘s experience and past service on the Charlestown town council (2014-2022) place her as the best choice. Bonnie deserves our support and vote. Join me in voting for Bonnie VanSlyke at Town Hall on Dec 2.
