Charlestown Town Council Workshop with DEM and CRMC- April 10, 2008
(the minutes for the meeting are available here)
At this meeting, staff from DEM and CRMC explain the importance of keeping Nitrogen out of the Coastal Ponds. They also explain that few people will be effected by the current DEM rules. They put to rest many of Mr. Mageau's exaggerated claims. The first video is a low light from the end of the meeting and is very short and is definitely worth watching to see typical Jim Mageau behavior. Make sure you have your sound volume all the way up to catch the language! The full meeting is presented below in 8 videos each of about 30 minutes in length. These are worth watching if you are concerned about your septic system or how DEM rules for the Salt Pond's watershed may effect you. There is also a discussion of the extremely high cost to taxpayers of having a municipal sewer system.
First film runs 2 minutes. This is actually the end of the meeting, but it is such a good example of typical Jim Mageau behavior that we had to show it first.
