Restore civility and sound judgment to Charlestown

In a recent interview, Mageau compared his name recognition to Barack Obama’s and suggests he will benefit from all the coverage he has gotten over the last 2 years. As with most things, Mageau is confused about the benefits between being “notable” versus “notorious”. He also says that he despises “political correctness” as if this somehow excuses his disgraceful behavior which includes hate mail, an assault conviction, and numerous verbal attacks against citizens as documented in the hours of tapes of Town Council meetings which can be found on the www.charlestowncitizens.org website. And to make matters worse, factual inaccuracies and false accusations spew as easily from Mageau as his fowl language and disgusting behavior.

Avoid the single party lever this year and make sure we don’t inadvertently usher Mageau and his Democratic supporters into office again. Restore civility and sound judgment to Charlestown by supporting Charlene Dunn, Marjorie Frank, Forrester Safford, Greg Avedisian and Richard Hosp for Charlestown Town Council and Matt McHugh for State Representative. Charlestown needs to recover from the nightmare of the last two years and set a viable course for the future during these difficult economic times. These candidates have the experience and strength of character to chart that course.
