As each Mageau letter is published, more and more citizens flock to the side of the angels

There is usually a lot of anguish around town when a letter from Mageau is published in a local newspaper. As repugnant as these letters almost always are, they usually reveal his true character and his political motivations for the often misguided agenda he attempts to push forward. There have even been recent letters purportedly authored by Mageau. You don't need a "handwriting expert" to know that these letters lack the inimitable Mageau style - replete with hyperbole, reckless accusations against ordinary citizens and erroneous "facts" - and were not written by the same person unless we are dealing with a much bigger problem than we realize. Theories abound, but the prevalent speculation is that they were written by someone close to the local Democratic party in a desperate attempt to repair Mageau's tarnished image and exposed agenda which is inextricably intertwined with their own. And as each letter is published, more and more citizens flock to the side of the angels – and that's a good thing for Charlestown. So keep them coming Jimmy!
