Tracking the Pack

Join Jeff Motta as he shares valuable insights into the complex social dynamics of a captive wolf pack. Jeff will discuss the status of wolves of America today.

In the summer of 2008, Jeff spent seven days at the International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota, as two new wolf pups were introduced to their new family. Jeff and other members of the Behavioral Observation team recorded every detail of wolf interaction during the first critical days of the pups’ introduction to the pack – an historic event. As he shows film and connects to the project through a “ live pack update”, Jeff will discuss the status of wolves in America today. Jeff teaches middle school and is a wolf enthusiast.

Admission is free but donations are gratefully accepted.
